The Return of the Nuggets

Reformation:

Dynamo Nuggets Owner, Lord Horatio T Nugget III has announced that the club will once again enter the world of professional football. The old manager has been contracted with the club to help build up the club and manage the team. In a Press Conference, manager Rossinio said “Its great to be back in charge of the Nuggets after such a long abscence. I’ll do what I can to make the Orange and Blacks great again and build up a strong squad to really challenge for the title”.

Once the Nuggets joined the professional football scene, they participated in a player draft, where their squad was picked from a large pool of players who were out of contract. Rossinio opted to bring in a wave of new faces as well as a few old ones to hold the team together. Without further ado, let us announce the Dynamo Nugget Squad:

Changes! Chaaaaanges!

With just over a week gone since Borja Oubina strolled into the Hubertus Megadome, Manager Ross Barnes decided to sell his Central Midfielder on. The reasoning? “He’s just not performing with us, someone of his calibur not even registering a goal in 49 games? No Man of the Match peformances? He’s just not settled so we decided to sell his contract on. Since he’s left, he’s played much better, so we reckon he wasn’t really content here.”. Replacing Borja in Midfield is Frenchman Arnold Mvuemba, who’s presence is noticeable. He’s already bagged a goal too, which is a bonus. Another big name to join the club is Turkish Prodigy, Serdar Kurtulus, who is replacing Danny Simpson at Right Back. Simpson’s reputation for tough tackling earned him a club record of Yellow Cards, something which the team frowns upon. Also joining the team are Belarussian Keeper, Sergey Veremko, and former Nugget Damien Malrrechaufe. Arguably the biggest piece of news is Under 21 star, Lucas Pratto has left the team in an exchange deal. Pratto was exchanged for another Central Midfield to allow for a better transition into a new strategy. His replacement, Jesus Mendez has performed admirably in Orange and Black so far.

Doing Pants

It is unfortunate, but due to the changes in formation, squad and Captaincy, the Orange and Blacks have lost some of their spark. Their goalscoring rate is down, and they are now ranked at around 250 in the World. Their record best rank was 56th, however they’ve not been able to cling onto a respectable ranking since the main transfer rush.

Infestation

Fans may have noticed a number of “Adriano”s appearing on the daily programmes. We advice all visitors not to be alarmed, the club are aware of the issue. Since the arrival of Adriano the Older, the club’s top goal scorer, other Adrianos have swooped in to make the Megadome their home. There are believed to be 5 Adriano’s now roosting in the changing rooms, affectionately known as “Adriano the Older”, “Adriano the Younger”, “Adriano the Midfielder”, “Adriano the Keeper” and “Adriano the Non-Brazilian”. In attempt to emulate the success of “The Older”, a few wannabes, named Adrian, have also attempted to join the club, more on this news as it progresses..

All Good Things…

Soon, the current organisation of Dynamo Nuggets will be shut down. However, on 29th October, the Orange and Blacks will be reborn once again into a Mighty Club. This means that once again all current contracts will not be renewed. But take heart all ye fans in that we, the club, shall endeavour to make the Nuggets better and stronger than before, and we’ll try to bring back our iconic players, like Vidangossy. This is the last planned restructuring of the clubs and leagues. From that date on, we’re stuck with what we’ve got.

22/9/08 Weekly Nuggets Update

League Funds Put to Good Use

After receiving media and sponsor money for participating in the Primetime Football Association, the Dynamo Nuggets set about the task of signing some quality for the team. Deciding originally that the focus was on Central Midfield, and a Stronger Left Back, bids were made for Stephen Warnock and Scotland International, Darren Fletcher. However the Orange and Blacks failed on both bids due to not being able to contest the players wages enough. Instead, the Management opted to bid on their second string of targets, consisting of players such as Borja Oubina, Jaroslav Plasil and Ariel Ibagaza. At 10pm Wednesday Night the Dynamo Nuggets could confirm that Strong Defensive Midfielder, Borja Oubina would be a Dynamo Nuggets player. The following day, it was confirmed that Croatian Left Winger, Danijal Pranjic would also been an Orange and Black too. Adding to these two signings was Sebastien Sansoni, a Veteran CB who’s physical prescence and experience has bolstered the defensive ranks well.

Youth Academy Grows

The Hubertus Megadome opened its doors to the world this week to allow Youth player from other teams to benefit from the superb coaching skills at the Youth Academy. An influx of players, loaned from other teams and signed full-time have rushed in. Names to highlight of this pack would be Michael Lea, Sergey Shumilin(A Nuggets Youth Player before the Lockout Season) , Potato, and Angel Diez, who’s superb Goalkeeping skills have been the centre of praise from rival Managers. The Academy is still growing in strength and has just finished improvements to the Mental Coaching area.

 

Player Sales/Loans/Rumours

The first player to permanently leave the Megadome is Centre-Back, Lloyd Doyley. Unable to break the starting lineup at his time at the Megadome. Doyley became a regular benchwarmer, and with the arrival of Sansoni, he was soon dropped from the squad entirely. Everyone at the Nuggets wishes Doyley the best of luck in the future. American Full-Back, James Riley could also be leaving the club. He’s signed a 7 Day Loan deal with an All-American Outfit, with a view to making the deal permanent. To replace Riley, Nuggets have signed Chilean Left Back Marco Estrada on loan. Rumours are that due to the arrival of Oubina, one of the founding 3 Midfielders may leave. Mobali, Soltani and Neumayr are all under close scrutiny at the moment, but Soltani is the favourite to depart at the moment, due to being French, and unhappy for some reason.

Slow Week

Not many games were played this week for the Nuggets. Of the matches that were played, the Senior Squad managed to progress to the next round of the PFA Cup with a confident performance. The Youth Team, however, have failed to win a game. Due to the squad being bolstered all the time, Nuggets staff believe this is only a temporary setback and hope to see improvements in the Future.

New Signings

In order to bolster the ranks of the Nuggets, manager Ross Barnes has decided to make the most of his generous overdraft and bring in some help. The most prolific of these is the full-contract capture of Young Chilean Attacker, Mathias Vidangossy, an Iconic figure for the old Nuggets. Next on the list of signings is young Colombian Midfielder, Miguel Ramos. Ramos has yet to actually shine in a match, as he’s been signed primarily as a member of the rotation system, however he is showing great strides in his development in the training ground. Vakhit Orazsakhedov is the next signing, previously a trialist at the Megadome, Vakhit impressed coaches with his first tem displays and was offered a full-time contract. He has scored 3 key goals for the Orange and Blacks since his arrival. Final signing is young Spanish Prodigy Potato. Potato, is 18 years old and shows a lot of promise, with blinding pace and good finishing skills.

 

Cup Progress

Dynamo Nuggets are still sitting, somewhat uncomfortably, at the top of the Warm Up League. Their early form has dropped off dramatically lately, however they are holding onin an attempt to grab the prize money. The Nuggets were, however, knocked out of their own cup in the Quarter Finals by an Assistant Manager controlled team on penalties. Fans were unhappy at this turn of events, but not enough to start throwing things.

Dynamo Nuggets Reformed!

After 2 weeks of non-football. The Officials in the FA have decide to reform the leagues, and so Dynamo Nuggets have been reformed. While every attempt has been made to resign members of the old squad, it was not possible to reclaim any of those who had performed at the Hubertus Megadome in the past. However, we can confirm that the Orange and Blacks have a strong squad of players, with the average age of around 25, with the prospect of further development a huge possiblity due to excellent coaching facilities. Without a doubt, the biggest names on the team are young Danny Simpson, and Markus Neumayr, who’s pervious performances before the “Lockout Season” were highly admired by manager Ross Barnes.

Who is the Adriano Fellow?

Is it THE Adriano? The Inter Milan Guy? Nope. Just a lesser clone of the man himself. Although his scoring prowess is just as potent. He’s also not as fat, irritating or uncivilised.

Vidangossy Returns!

Mathias Vidangossy has returned to the Megadome on a 24-Hour Trial. Vidangossy (CHI) was signed on the contract to reinforce the weakened AMR Position and provided quality striker rotation. Mathias was not signed from the start, as desired, as he was preliminarily a play at an opposing team. However his contract was terminated and immediately snapped up on the 24 Hour Trial.

Trials and Injuries

Other than Vidangossy, three other players have been called up on trial. Central Defender Lino Marzoratti, Central Midfield, Dimitris Georgiou and Striker Vakhit Orazsakhedov from Turkmenistan.

On only his second game for the Nuggets, Netherland Antilles winger, Eldridge Rojer has been ruled out for around a week with a torn hamstring. Rojer, 24, showed promise in his first game, but vows to bounce back strongly after his injury. Tony Hibbert is also out for around one day due to a foot injury sustained in a friendly against Villa Real F.C .

Dynamo Nuggets would hereby like to announce its brand new look!

OK, well its the same…However, due to a clerical error, half of the players’ contracts have been shredded so the Orange and Blacks will have to rebuild again from afresh in this upcoming week. Reports indicate that Manager Ross Barnes will do his utmost ot bring his players back to the team, but will probably end up having a fresh-faced squad of new-names. Players like Owen Hargreaves and Edson Braafheid may not, unfortunately, be able to rejoin the Nuggets at this restart.

BROKEN NEWS

OH CALAMITY

Due to a Doomsday Device-like implosion in the Football Leagues, all Football has been cancelled for the foreseeable future. This means that all players will have an extended holiday, if they manage to find their way out of the Void they are currently floating in due to the distinct lack of Universe. Plans to retrieve pieces of the factured world are in progress, but it is unlikely we’ll see the same Dynamo Nuggets players in Orange and Black once the Club begins again. Previous plans to restart in October have been put on hold.

 

Serious Note: The Gameworld I’m on is broken and possibly irretrievably lost. Hopefully, it’ll get fixed soon, but things aren’t looking too good Bugger.

Nuggets shall live on!

Come October, the Dynamo Nuggets, will be undergoing a major reshuffle and re-allocation of Wages. This means that players like Igor Budan, Ivica Dragutinovic and sadly, our Glorious Captain, Owen Hargreaves will probably depart. This news comes in the wake of entering a new compeition/gameworld where all teams are demanded to start from the ground up. Right now, Staff and Players are currently weighing up their options and creating a shortlist of suitable candidates for signing.

Positive Progress

Last update, we informed you that the Dynamo Nuggets team were struggling. Well, thats not the case anymore. The Orange and Blacks have found a good vein of form, losing only 1 of their previous 6 games. This allowed the to boost their position up to 9th in the table for a time. The Under 21 team has performed admirably too with great success in their league. Fabio Zamblera is showing great potential, scoring many goals for the club, with Sergey Shumilin and the new signing Vahid Amraei performing well to, making the two Starting Striker Positions really well fought for. The Under 17 however is struggling to find its feet. However a shake-up in the team compostion should help the Young Orange and Blacks climb away from the bottom of the table.

“Igor Budan is Safe”

“I’ve got no idea where these rumours came from. Igor is definitely not going anywhere.” This is a direct quote from manager Ross Barnes 5 days after speculation linking the Croatian Striker with a move out of the Hubertus Megadome. The striker has hit a solid run of form since the rumours were spread and is widely responsible for the success of the club today. With the introduction of the new wave of Strikers, both Budan and Djebbour have managed to retain their starting spots, with Zelaya, Ze Eduardo and Fabinho competing for the substitute positions.

Rafik Djebbor, last season’s goal scoring sensation has been struggling to find the net this season. With only 2 goals from 22 games, it seems that the fan favourite isn’t able to convert his chances into goals. With the opportunities to score becoming less and less available, and competition for his place in the starting lineup becoming more intense, one has to ponder whether Rafik will pick up his game before ‘decisions are made’ regarding the player’s future. Rafik, the Algerian International has been averaging ratings of 7 in the games he’s played, distracting defence with key runs allowing team-mates to score. However, as of late it appears Igor Budan has stolen his limilight. Stay tuned for Rafik’s Progress later in the week.

News from the Megadome

The Madness of Lord Nugget

Unsanction Transfers (as in, I made them when I was really thinking properly) have led to a mass build up of Strikers at the club. Dynamo Nuggets have recently signed rising stars Fabinho, Ze Eduardo and Sasko Pandev. On top of that, the Orange and Blacks have picked up another goalkeeper, Lucas Suarez to put pressure on Mehdi Rahmati’s comfortable Number 1 Goalie spot. In addition to these major signings, The Nuggets have picked up a Middle-Easter Strike Duo of Iraqi, Rasoul Abdul-Muhsin and Iranian Vahid Amraei. This makes the U-21 Attacking area immensely powerful with Shumilin and Zamblera already well-established.

Slump in Form

Dynamo Nuggets are suffering from low form lately. With few Senior wins to their name in Friendly AND competitive competition. Perhaps this was the reason for the over-spending on players… However, the omens are good for the future, as the Under 21 and Under 17 teams performing admirably against tougher opposition. When will the Orange and Blacks regain their First Team composure though? Who knows.

Ivica Unsettled – Budan Out?

Ivica Dragutinovic has not been able to break into the starting XI since arriving during the Wage Auctions, the veteran defender has therefore been put on the transfer list to ease his discomfort. On his appearances, Ivica has performed admirably, but the back four harmonics have been dirsupted by his arrival. The club’s underperformance, and lack of goals has caused reason to doubt Igor Budan’s skill level. Igor is an excellent player, but is a scapegoat for the teams’ underperformance, and fan pressure has forced Lord Nugget’s hand in placing him on the Transfer List. With the influx of new Forwards, players like Ze Eduardo and Fabinho could be looking forward to the opportunity of taking Igors place and try to grab a few goals for the seniors.
